WHY SQUARESPACE?
Because it’s awesome! But seriously. Squarespace is an all-in-one platform (domain, hosting, email campaigns, scheduling, online store, analytics, blog, etc.), plus it’s beautiful and easy to use. You don’t need to know how to code to modify the design, and they offer 24/7 customer support when something doesn’t go quite right.
WHAT IF I NEED MORE THAN ONE PAGE OR A LOGO?
You can check out my a la carte services here if you need more than a homepage (i.e., contact, about, services) or additional design assets like a logo or lead magnet. WHAT DO I NEED TO PREPARE BEFORE WE BEGIN?
Start by getting professional brand photography. You’ll then complete some questionnaires, customize a privacy policy, create a Pinterest board, gather and upload any existing brand elements, and share links to your photos and third-party systems. I highly recommend booking at least a few weeks in advance to give yourself time to prepare.
ARE THERE ANY ADDITIONAL COSTS?
You are responsible for purchasing any legal documents (like a privacy policy or terms and conditions) needed for your business and the domain and Squarespace subscription. It's also important to note that if we decide to use a custom font for your project, you will be responsible for purchasing the license for it as well.
WHAT ARE THE LEGAL DOCS I NEED? AND WHERE CAN I GET THEM???
For your website, you may want a Terms & Conditions, Disclaimer, etc., but you must have a Privacy Policy no matter what. A privacy policy is required by federal law. It explains what kinds of personal information you gather, how you use it, and how you keep it safe. You can customize a privacy policy from The Contract Shop here (That's an affiliate link!)
DO YOU PROVIDE COPYWRITING?
I provide copywriting prompts designed to help you write all the necessary details. Once you've completed the document, I’ll help to edit and polish your words to ensure they resonate with your target audience.
